Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital (ADFH) was established by the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi, to support the culture of traditional Arabic falconry. Every year, over 11 000 falcons are brought in for evaluation and care. Since its inception, ADFH has established itself as the largest falcon hospital in the world, one of the most reputable falcon hospitals in the Gulf region, and a major global hub for falcon medicine. The ADFH has built up a devoted and extensive patient base over the years, not just in the UAE but also in nations like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
The hospital opened its doors to visitors in 2007 and since then has won over 42 international awards including the World Responsible Tourism award and is a top tourism destination in Abu Dhabi.
